This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

I forgot to answer your question. I think you wanted to know what format I was using. Answer: film
More often than not though these days I am doing digital because I live in the country and up here that wouldn't know how to process c41 film if their arses were on fire. I have no hope if I am using cross processing or any other emulsion OTHER than something using c41.
So, it is usually trundling around with a Canon Powershot. Yes, you heard me. I don't have a dslr, but I do have adapters and have got away just fine without people laughing at what I am using. After all it is not the size of the camera package, it is how you use.

No, I totally agree. I've seen some friends who came up with awesome shots using compact cameras. I know one who only used disposable plastic-and-cardboard cameras, and still came up with great stuff. (I just wish she'd used something better, because what looked good at 6x4" really didn't work well when blown up, sadly.)
DSLRs can give you more options, but you need the creativity and location and subjects more.
That is one downfall of cheaper disposable cameras. I do not mind at all using box cameras. They are compact, cheap and still have the ability to override settings so that you can adjust them manually.
I have such a vaste collection of film cameras as well that I scour second hand stores for. It's amazing what you can pick up. I picked up a polaroid 667 with flashcubes still in their original box. I was pretty damn happy about that.
